Stranger Things Season 5 Finale Runtime Revealed

Netflix has confirmed that the series finale of Stranger Things Season 5 will have a runtime of two hours and five minutes. The streaming giant also announced fan screenings in over 500 theatres across the US and Canada, starting on 31 December 2025 at 5:00pm PT, coinciding with the global premiere on Netflix. Screenings will continue through 1 January 2026. Reservation payments will go towards concessions rather than tickets.

Volume 1 of the final season launched on 26 November 2025 with four episodes, while Volume 2—comprising the next three episodes—arrived on Christmas Day 2025. The eighth and final episode will be shown in cinemas, a move praised by creators Matt and Ross Duffer and executive producer Shawn Levy, who stated the finale 'deservedly' belongs on the big screen.

Netflix has also partnered with LEGO to release a Creel House set, featuring 2,593 pieces and figurines including Henry in his Mr. Whatsit form, Mike the Brave, Rockin’ Robin, Will the Wise, Mad Max, Lucas Sinclair, Vecna, Holly the Heroic, Eleven, Dustin in his Hellfire shirt, Nancy Wheeler, Jonathan Byers, and Steve Harrington. Additional sets include Steve’s BMW and the Hawkins Hitmaker.
