Netflix has released a clip of the first five minutes of the final season of Stranger Things, sending fans into a frenzy. The footage, titled 'The Crawl,' opens with a flashback to 1983, showing Will Byers trapped in the Upside Down.
In the clip, Will sings 'Should I stay or should I go?' to stay calm before a demogorgon drags him to Vecna's lair. Vecna, played by Jamie Campbell Bower, tells Will, 'At long last, we can begin. You and I, we are going to do such beautiful things together,' as a vine shoots down his throat.
The fifth season is split into three parts: the first airs on 27 November, the second on Boxing Day, and the final episode on New Year's Day, which will also screen in select cinemas. The synopsis reveals the story is set in fall 1987, with Hawkins scarred by rifts and the government hunting Eleven.
Co-creator Matt Duffer described the season as 'the most emotional' yet, while Ross Duffer admitted they are 'nerve-racking' but ready to share it. The clip was released after the LA premiere attended by stars like Millie Bobby Brown.
