Steve Schirripa Joins Cast of 'Dexter: Resurrection'

Steve Schirripa, known for his roles in 'The Sopranos' and 'Blue Bloods', has joined the cast of the upcoming 'Dexter' sequel series, 'Dexter: Resurrection'. He will play the recurring role of Vinny, a greedy slumlord.

Production for the Showtime series began in January in New York. The show is set to debut on Paramount+ With Showtime in the summer. Michael C. Hall returns as Dexter Morgan, with Uma Thurman, David Zayas, Jack Alcott, and others also starring.

Guest stars include Krysten Ritter, Neil Patrick Harris, David Dastmalchian, and Eric Stonestreet. 'Dexter: Resurrection' is separate from the prequel series 'Dexter: Original Sin', which aired in 2024.

The series is executive produced by Clyde Phillips, who also serves as showrunner. Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios produce, with Hall, Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns as executive producers. Marcos Siega is producing director, with Monica Raymund directing four episodes and Siega directing six.
