Stacey Solomon's DIY Tip Backfires in Joe Swash Chaos

Stacey Solomon's attempt to dismantle the garage so she and husband Joe Swash could have 'one door each' backfired when the EastEnders actor expressed his displeasure. In a scene from Stacey Solomon's Renovation Rescue on Channel 4, Joe lamented: 'What have you done to my garage?'

He joked about the garage's proportions reflecting their relationship, claiming Stacey was getting 85 per cent and he 15 per cent. Stacey responded: 'Well, we might as well continue as we started.' She later told the camera: 'It's better if we keep the DIY to one person, that person being me, because I'm much better at it than Joe!'

Elsewhere in the episode, Stacey visited a Devon couple who lost £300,000 to a scam involving rogue builders. The couple had faced redundancy and a severe Covid-19 illness before the renovation disaster. With only £30,000 left, they appealed to Stacey for help.

Stacey sympathised: 'They've not just taken your money, they've taken time away from your family.' She helped them transform their beachside home, ultimately declaring: 'I wanna move in!'

Stacey Solomon's Renovation Rescue continues next Wednesday at 9pm on Channel 4.
