Stacey Solomon Breaks Silence After NTA Snub with Defiant Post

Stacey Solomon has broken her silence after a double blow at last night's National Television Awards, where she lost out in the Factual Entertainment category despite two nominations. The 35-year-old former X Factor star was nominated for BBC shows Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe, but the award went to Prime Video's Clarkson's Farm.

Despite the losses, Solomon appeared in high spirits on Instagram, sharing a video compilation of her evening. She captioned the post: "It's never about the destination. It all about who you spend the journey with. We didn't win any awards last night but it feels like we won." She thanked her family and the teams behind both shows, calling them her "second family."

Solomon also presented the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award alongside husband Joe Swash, which went to Michael McIntyre's Big Show. Just hours before the ceremony, she criticised the NTAs for placing both her shows in the same category, calling the decision "ludicrous."

This is not the first time Solomon has spoken out after an awards snub. Earlier this year, she expressed devastation after Sort Your Life Out lost the BAFTA to Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour, saying she was "not handling it very well."
