Stacey Solomon Returns to BGT to Support Golden Buzzer Act

Stacey Solomon made a surprise appearance on Britain's Got Talent on Saturday (May 2) as she joined the studio audience to support her golden buzzer act, Braunstone Community Primary School. The former X Factor finalist had stepped in as a temporary judge during auditions, covering for Simon Cowell, and was captivated by the school's choir-turned-rave performance.

Solomon, who secured third place in The X Factor in 2009, initially kept her judging role under wraps. She later posted on Instagram: "What in the alternate universe is going on?" alongside a photo of the judges' panel with her name illuminated.

During the live semi-final, hosts Ant and Dec spotted Solomon in the audience alongside her husband Joe Swash and two of her children. She said: "I cannot wait to watch them. I know they're gonna have the time of their lives out there and that's what this show is all about to me."

The episode also addressed controversy from the previous week's semi-final, when Ant and Dec referenced Sinitta's abrupt departure during the I'm a Celebrity South Africa live final. Dec joked: "If you misbehave you'll be out quicker than Sinitta."
