Sophie Turner's Heist Thriller 'Steal' Gets January Release Date on Prime Video

Sophie Turner stars in 'Steal', a new six-part heist thriller series coming to Prime Video on 21 January 2026. The show follows Zara, an office worker at a pension fund investment company, whose life is turned upside down when a violent gang storms her office and forces her and her best friend Luke to carry out their demands.

The series, described as a 'contemporary, high-octane thriller about the heist of the century', explores the mystery of who stole billions of pounds from ordinary people's pensions and why. DCI Rhys, played by Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, must solve the case while grappling with a recent gambling addiction relapse and his own financial troubles.

Written by debut screenwriter SA Nikias and directed by Sam Miller and Hettie Macdonald, the show has been praised as a 'uniquely thrilling ride' by Vernon Sanders of Amazon MGM Studios. Producers Rebecca de Souza and Greg Brenman called the script 'rollercoasting, nail-biting and funny'.
