Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford offered a rare glimpse into his relationship with wife Paige during Friday's episode of the hit Channel 4 show. As the cast watched a scene from Bridgerton, Pete quipped about 'punching above his weight' and pointed to his wedding ring, joking that he would tell Paige 'too late' if she ever realised.
Later in the episode, Pete's sister and co-star Sophie Sandiford reminded him that his wedding anniversary was on Wednesday, leaving Pete momentarily panicked as he thought it was that day. He admitted he had not yet bought a gift, despite Paige suggesting they 'not get anything'—a trap Sophie warned him not to fall into.
Pete and Paige married in 2021 and welcomed their first child, son Jimmy, later that year. In December 2022, Pete announced on Gogglebox that they were expecting a second child, and their daughter Eva Sylvie Sandiford was born in June 2023. Pete and Sophie have been regulars on Gogglebox since 2017.
