Emmerdale viewers believe they have identified the person who will push villain Joe Tate out of a window at Home Farm in an upcoming whodunnit. The character, played by Ned Porteous, will face a brutal attack later this week, with multiple suspects including his brother Noah Dingle, uncle Caleb Miligan, lover Dawn Taylor, and her husband Billy Fletcher.
Other potential culprits are Dawn's daughter Clemmie, Caleb's wife Ruby Miligan, Noah's mother Charity Dingle, Caleb's brother Cain Dingle, and Kerry Wyatt. The incident follows an event where Joe's dark secrets are exposed, such as drugging Noah, causing a limo crash that killed Kerry's daughter Amy, having Caleb stabbed to steal his kidney, and his affair with Dawn.
Fans have pointed to Clemmie as the likely attacker, citing her recent conflict with Joe—including him biting her and threatening her—as a motive. The promo image includes Clemmie among the suspects, leading viewers to speculate that she may push Joe and that someone, possibly Kim Tate, will cover it up.
One fan commented: 'I dunno why I think Clemmie [does it] and Kim covers it up!' Another agreed: 'Got to be Clemmie.' A third added: 'Kim not being on the list makes Kim look more suspicious... I do think from the list it would be Clemmie or Noah.'
Ned Porteous described filming the twist as 'a fun day' but remained tight-lipped about Joe's fate. Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
