Saturday Night Live UK has been confirmed for a second season by Sky, bringing 12 new episodes to fans. The broadcaster also announced a release window for the comedy series, which will air between autumn 2026 and early 2027 on Sky One and NOW. Season two is expected to begin in September, offering a relatively short wait after the first season's finale.
Season 1 Finale and Hosts
The first series featured celebrity hosts including Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan, Jack Whitehall, and Aimee Lou Wood. The penultimate episode aired on Saturday, May 9, with Hannah Waddingham hosting and Myles Smith as musical guest. Tonight's finale on Saturday, May 16 is hosted by Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa with music from Holly Humberstone.

The show has received mixed reviews on social media. One viewer complained, "We're 3 minutes in and I've given up on SNL UK already. Really poor." However, others have been more positive, with another fan writing, "As a fan of SNL for over 30 years, the UK show has been great so far."
