Sky has released the first teaser trailer for the British version of NBC's iconic sketch show, 'Saturday Night Live UK'. The 30-second clip features the cast walking down a London street towards a venue with a neon 'Saturday Night Live UK' sign.
The cast includes Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young. The voiceover announces: 'Live from London, it's Saturday night. The new faces of Saturday Night Live have arrived on Sky.'
Plans for the British remake were confirmed last April, with the six-episode first series set to premiere on Sky on March 21, 2026. Guest presenters are expected to be announced soon; The Sun reported that Tina Fey will host an episode, though Sky declined to comment.
The show is produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio's UK production team and Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video. Michaels serves as executive producer, with James Longman as lead producer, Liz Clare as director, and Daran Jonno Johnson as head writer.
