Olivia Rodrigo made her debut as host, pulling double duty as host and musical guest. In her monologue, she looked back at her childhood acting work, including an Old Navy commercial and her time on the Disney Channel with Jake Paul, before performing a new version of her hit song Driver's License about getting a Real ID from the DMV.
The episode featured a sketch called Edge of Destiny, an 80s soap opera in which Rodrigo and Chloe Fineman played rival socialites. A slap led to a series of falls down a mansion's stairs, with the cast flopping about as the set moved around them. Another sketch featured a music video from Rodrigo that started as an ode to her bedroom but revealed she was in a zoo on a bug planet.
In a Shop TV sketch, Rodrigo played a baker selling a lava cake that resembled an anus, leading to a gross visual gag when Mikey Day's character stuck his finger into it. The episode also included a cameo by Debbie Harry and a sketch where Rodrigo's character pretended to be a date at a birthday party.
