Netflix has added what some fans are calling one of the most underrated horror films of the year, with viewers urged to add it to their watchlist just in time for Halloween. The film, titled 'It's What's Inside', is an American science fiction comedy horror released in 2024 and directed by Greg Jardin.
The plot follows a group of friends reuniting the day before one of their weddings. According to horror critic Ricky, who reviewed the film on TikTok, the group has a complicated history and carries a lot of baggage. One character, Forbes, who has been off the radar, arrives and introduces a mysterious device, setting the story in motion.
Ricky praised the film's style, cinematography, and acting performances, calling it 'extremely convoluted' but a joy to watch. He noted that while the first 20 minutes felt hectic, the story and performances made it a standout. The film stars Brittany O'Grady from 'The White Lotus', James Morosini from 'American Horror Story', and Alycia Debnam-Carey from 'The 100'.
Viewer reactions have been mixed, with some calling it a decent horror film and others finding it too confusing. One fan commented, 'Watched it TWICE, I loved it!!' while another said, 'It was okay, had potential but just got way too confusing.'
