Sky has officially renewed the crime drama Gangs of London for a fourth season, as announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival. The series, created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery, is produced by Pulse Films, part of Vice Studios Group.
The show follows the violent power struggles among London's criminal factions. Season 3 continued the story after a contaminated cocaine shipment caused numerous deaths. In the UK, the third season has already aired, but it has not yet been broadcast in the US, with AMC yet to announce a release date.
Starring Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù as undercover cop-turned-gangster Elliot Finch and Narges Rashidi as Kurdish gang boss Lale, the first season debuted in 2020. The renewal was confirmed alongside the announcement of a third season for Mr Bigstuff.
At the festival, Meghan Lyvers, Sky's executive director of scripted originals, expressed interest in finding the next hit like Brassic, which is approaching its seventh and final season. Danny Dyer also won a BAFTA for his role in Mr Bigstuff.
