Sunday Brunch presenter Simon Rimmer made a cheeky remark about co-host Tim Lovejoy's hair during the latest episode of the Channel 4 show. The banter came as the pair discussed the upcoming League Cup final between their respective teams, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Rimmer, 60, joked that Lovejoy's hair was visible in an old photo, implying it had been a long time since Chelsea won a final. Lovejoy, who now sports a shaved head, responded, "I do miss my hair! I'm so bald now. It's horrible." Despite Rimmer's attempts to console him, Lovejoy insisted he dislikes his bald look.
Meanwhile, Rimmer has been facing challenges off-screen, having closed his vegetarian restaurant Greens in West Didsbury, Manchester, after 24 years. He cited rising costs as the main reason, telling This Morning that rent, utilities, and staff wages had become unsustainable. "We've hit the point where many hospitality businesses go 'I actually can't afford to open the doors,'" he said.
