Si King, best known as one half of the Hairy Bikers, is set to present a new railway adventure series for Channel 4, marking his first major solo project since the death of his co-star Dave Myers in 2024.
The four-part series, tentatively titled Top Of The Stops, will see the 58-year-old explore the UK's network of over 2,600 train stations, meeting the staff who keep them running. He will be joined by transport historian Siddy Holloway and architect Damion Burrows.
Produced by Yeti Television, the show aims to highlight Britain's railway heritage as the network turns 200 years old. Clemency Green, Channel 4's senior commissioning editor for lifestyle, said: 'We're honoured Si will be presenting his first series for More4, and Yeti will no doubt deliver a captivating series that viewers will love to escape into.'
Since Myers' death, King has continued to honour his legacy, including a final Hairy Bikers programme aired in December 2024. In January 2025, he became a regular chef on ITV's This Morning. Top Of The Stops is expected to air later this year.
Channel 4 also announced two other lifestyle shows: What Not To Eat, featuring Dr Tim Spector and Dr Kandi Ejiofor helping families reduce ultra-processed foods, and George Clarke's Kitchen Vs Garden, a home renovation series premiering on August 13.
