Sean Slater returns as Craig's Amy kidnap ordeal worsens

Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky) made his return to Albert Square in tonight's EastEnders, joining the search for Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) after Craig Ingram (Matthew James Bailey) ran off with her. Craig, who does not want to be found, panicked when he realised Amy had used her burner phone to contact Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), but he ditched the phone and the car's number plates before police could track her.

Sean and Jack's desperate search

By Monday, November 2, tensions are high between Sean and Jack, who have been searching for Amy all night. Lily Slater (Lilia Turner) confronts Sean for not saying hello, and at No.27, Sean and Jack update the family before arguing with Max Branning (Jake Wood) over giving Amy early access to her inheritance.

When Sean visits The Vic, Lily brings another lead: Amy opened an online bank account using Charli's tablet. The family shares the evidence with police, but it remains unclear if it will be enough to find Amy.

Craig's violent turn

Amy and Craig hide in a bedsit, where Amy is clearly nervous. Craig arranges accommodation abroad, but when he tries to enter payment details, he discovers the bank account has been frozen. In a devastating turn, Craig hits Amy.

Elsewhere, Cindy Beale's mood sours when Max arrives with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), leading to an argument in The Vic. Later, Cindy has a heart-to-heart with Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), and Gemma Hawkins (Patricia Potter) tries to make friends while Ned Hawkins (Jamie Bamber) suggests Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) host a bonfire night.
