Scrubs Season 10 Trailer Divides Fans After 15-Year Hiatus

Fifteen years after the divisive ninth season, Scrubs returns with a tenth season premiering on Disney+ UK on Thursday, 26 February 2026. The revival sees original stars Zach Braff (JD), Donald Faison (Turk) and Sarah Chalke (Elliot) back at Sacred Heart Hospital, now as seasoned mentors guiding a new generation of interns.

The trailer has sparked mixed reactions among fans, with some sceptical after the poorly received ninth season. However, early reviews suggest the warmth of the original series remains intact. The opening titles have been subtly updated with modern technology while keeping the classic theme tune.

Returning cast members include Judy Reyes as Carla Espinosa (in four episodes due to scheduling conflicts), John C McGinley as Dr Perry Cox, Robert Maschio as Todd, and Phill Lewis as Hooch. Neil Flynn (the Janitor) and Christa Miller (Jordan Sullivan) appear as guest stars. Sam Lloyd's character Ted Buckland is absent following the actor's death in 2020, but a new location called Lloyd's Tavern pays tribute to him.

New additions include Vanessa Bayer as HR professional Sibby and Joel Kim Booster as Dr Eric Park. The intern cohort features Jacob Dudman, Layla Mohammadi, Ava Bunn, David Gridley and Amanda Morrow. Ken Jenkins (Dr Kelso) is not yet confirmed to return.

The season consists of nine episodes, airing weekly after a double-bill launch. US viewers can watch a day earlier on ABC and Hulu.
