SAS Rogue Heroes Season 3 Begins Filming with New Cast

Filming has commenced on the third series of the hit BBC drama SAS Rogue Heroes, created by Steven Knight. The new series is set in the summer of 1944 in France, as Paddy Mayne and his team parachute behind enemy lines to disrupt the German army and support the Allied liberation of Western Europe.

Jack O'Connell returns as Paddy Mayne, alongside Sofia Boutella as Eve Mansour and Dominic West as Dudley Clarke. New cast members include Lorne MacFadyen as Reverend Fraser McLusky, as well as Nick Hargrove, Andrew Dawson and Jake Jarratt, who will fight alongside French and Belgian resistance fighters.

Steven Knight, the series creator, said: 'Series three picks up as the war enters a critical phase... The Rogue Heroes dare to win, but at what cost to themselves and their souls?' Executive producer Karen Wilson added: 'If you thought series two was good, wait until you see what we have in store for series three.'
