Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks have acquired the podcast 'Sisters', expanding their media portfolio. The duo, known for their podcast 'Staying Relevant', have built a nine-person business with its own studio, live tours, and merchandise line since launching in 2022.
In the past year, they sold out London's O2 arena, won a TRIC Award, and published a Sunday Times bestselling book. Their documentary 'The Road to the O2', debuting on YouTube on March 2, chronicles their journey to the sold-out show.
Thompson, a former 'Made in Chelsea' star, and Wicks, from 'The Only Way Is Essex', aim to develop 'Staying Relevant' into a television format. Despite initial reluctance, Thompson now runs a production company, with Wicks crediting his optimism for their success.
“There isn’t a ceiling to what we want to do,” Wicks said. “We’ve got a weird little motto: you never know, we’ll have a go.”
