Rylan Clark Jokes He'll Sue BBC Over Eurovision Costume

Rylan Clark has joked that he will sue the BBC over his Eurovision costume after a voting mix-up during the second semi-final. The presenter, who was providing commentary for UK viewers, had to clarify instructions from host Alesha Dixon regarding text voting.

During the live broadcast on BBC One, Dixon told viewers across Europe that they could vote via text message, but Clark quickly corrected this for UK audiences, stating that viewers in the UK could only vote by phone or the Eurovision app. The mix-up led to Clark joking about legal action over his outfit.

The semi-final, hosted by Dixon, Hannah Waddingham, and Julia Sanina, saw performances from 16 acts. The UK, as host nation, automatically qualifies for the final, which takes place on Saturday, May 13 in Liverpool. Sweden's Loreen is the favourite to win, with Finland's Käärijä as the second favourite.

Clark's clarification came after Dixon's initial announcement, and he urged viewers not to vote until all acts had performed. The final will air on BBC One at 8pm.
