Rylan Clark Announces Final Radio 2 Show After Four Years

Rylan Clark has announced that he will be leaving BBC Radio 2 after four years, with his final show set to air this weekend. The presenter, who joined the station in 2023 to replace Zoe Ball on the Saturday afternoon slot, confirmed the news on social media.

In a statement, Clark said: 'After four incredible years at Radio 2, I've decided it's time to move on. I've had the best time and want to thank everyone who has supported me.' He did not reveal his next career move but hinted at new projects.

Clark first rose to fame on The X Factor in 2012 and later won Celebrity Big Brother in 2013. He went on to host Big Brother's Bit on the Side until the show ended in 2018. His Radio 2 show, which aired from 3-6pm on Saturdays, featured music and chat.

BBC Radio 2 has yet to announce a replacement for Clark. A spokesperson said: 'We thank Rylan for his fantastic contribution and wish him all the best for the future.'
