A brand new festival, American Express presents Roundhay Festival, is set to debut this weekend at Roundhay Park in Leeds, West Yorkshire, from Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026. The event will transform the beauty spot into a three-day music festival featuring headliners including Lewis Capaldi, Pitbull, and Jason Derulo.

Friday Line-Up and Set Times

On Friday, the main stage will host Pitbull at 8.50pm, Jason Derulo at 6.50pm, Tinie Tempah at 5.15pm, Lil Jon at 4pm, and Los Tucanes de Tijuana at 3pm. The day also includes a performance from Jazzie Martian.

Saturday Line-Up and Set Times

Saturday's headliner is Lewis Capaldi at 8.50pm, supported by Conan Gray at 6.50pm, Jessie Murph at 5.15pm, Jacob Alon at 3.50pm, Kerr Mercer at 2.50pm, and earlier sets from Nieve Ella and Maya Lane.

Sunday Orchestral Performances

The festival concludes on Sunday with a day of orchestral music. The Hallé Orchestra, with special guest Alfie Boe and host Myleene Klass, performs under 'All Things Orchestral' at 3.30pm, followed by an afterparty with DJ Yoda at 6.15pm.

How to Get to Roundhay Festival

Several travel options are available, including shuttle buses, park and stride, on-site parking, coaches, trains, and taxis. Organisers advise planning ahead as no re-admission is allowed.

Shuttle Bus

A city centre shuttle service runs from 11am each day, picking up on Sovereign Street and dropping off outside Leeds Train Station. Single journeys cost £4.50, payable by card only. Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes between 11am and 8pm from Sovereign Street, with the last return from Roundhay Park at around 00:30.

Park and Stride

Fearnville Park and Stride is located a scenic two-mile (30-minute walk) from the festival. Parking is on grass fields, and the walking route follows a country path. ANPR systems give priority to pre-booked cars. Bookings can be made until 9am on the day of each event; payment on the day is by card only.

On-Site Parking

Closest parking is at Connaught Fields, a 10-minute walk across grass paths to the West Entrance. ANPR systems operate for pre-booked priority. Booking closes at 9am on the event day, and payment is by card only.

Big Green Coach

Big Green Coach services run from numerous locations including Accrington, Barnsley, Birmingham, Bradford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, and York. Bookings can be made online.

Train and Taxis

Arriving at Leeds Train Station, festival-goers can use the City Centre Shuttle from Sovereign Street. Taxis are available outside the station on Princes Square, but the shuttle is recommended for quickest access.

Important Event Rules

No re-admission is permitted; once you enter, you cannot leave and return. The event is fully standing – no seats, chairs, seat sticks, or inflatable seats are allowed. No food or drink may be brought in, except water in containers up to 500ml and baby food in non-glass containers. Bags larger than A4 (297mm x 210mm x 210mm) are prohibited. No luggage storage is available on-site, but Stasher offers nearby storage at 135 Easterly Rd, Roundhay, Leeds LS8 2TP, insured up to £750.
