Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Shows Toned Abs at Cannes Lunch

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked effortlessly chic as she enjoyed a sunny lunch at Eden Roc during the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday. The 39-year-old model showcased her toned abs in a black and white striped cropped long-sleeved top while dining al fresco.

Outfit Details

She paired the top with cream-coloured pleated trousers and accessorised with stylish dark sunglasses and a gold chain necklace. Rosie, no stranger to Cannes, recently dazzled on the Met Gala red carpet in a dark brown Burberry dress, complemented by sparkling silver earrings and a matching necklace.

Inspiration from Art

In a recent interview with Vogue, Rosie revealed that her Met Gala dress was inspired by John Singer Sargent's painting Portrait of Madame X, which she has always found 'incredibly striking'.

Fitness Regime

Unlike some celebrities who use weight-loss drugs, the mother of two maintains her figure through a strict exercise routine. She told Vogue Australia that she focuses on weight training. 'I feel my fittest when I train with weights. I've noticed a difference in my posture, muscle tone and definition,' she said. 'I tell my friends every woman should give it a try. It's not just about looks; it's about feeling strong and confident.'

New Home with a View

Last week, it was revealed that Rosie and her fiancé Jason Statham are moving into a new $34 million beach house on the South Coast of England. The property overlooks a nudist beach, though the couple may not have been aware. The 20-acre site features a brutalist-style 'forever home' with five bedrooms, a private beach, a treehouse for their children Jack (eight) and Isabella (four), and a 42,000 sq ft boating lake with a wild swimming pond.

A separate building houses a horse stable for Rosie's riding hobby, and a large gym and indoor lap pool are planned. Land Registry records show Statham, known for the Fast & Furious franchise and films like Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, paid $27 million for the site in January 2024, with an additional $8 million expected to complete the build. The house was originally designed by a Royal Family architect and later adapted to Statham's minimalist taste.
