Starting Monday, July 6, Channel 5 will air Lie With Me, another popular thriller starring Charlie Brooks, best known for her role in EastEnders. The series will run over four consecutive nights, mirroring Riptide's scheduling pattern.
First aired in 2021, Lie With Me features Brooks as Anna, a British woman seeking a fresh start in Australia with her husband Jake and their two young children. The couple hires a local nanny, Becky, who proves to be far from the innocent stranger she appears. According to the official synopsis: "Seeking a fresh start for their marriage, British woman Anna and her Australian husband, Jake, move to Melbourne with their two small children. With Anna resuming her career, they hire a young live-in nanny to help, but local girl Becky is anything but the innocent stranger she pretends to be."
