Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) faces a shocking accident in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes when he is knocked down outside the garage. However, what follows takes an unexpected turn.
Background: Rex and Ste's Marriage
Earlier this year, mechanic Rex married Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), who had come to terms with Rex's experimentation with women's clothing. Ste initially struggled and even got arrested after causing a scene at The Loft when Rex appeared in a woman's blouse. His lawyer, James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan), became involved, leading to Ste cheating on Rex with his ex. Despite discovering the infidelity, Rex stayed silent, fearing Ste would choose James. Eventually, the truth emerged, and Ste chose Rex, marrying him in The Dog.
Upcoming Conflict
Their happiness is short-lived. Next week, Rex wears feminine clothes to the garage, worrying Ste. Leela Dexter (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) encourages her brother to be supportive, but Ste confides in Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard), suspecting Rex is seeking revenge for the affair with James.
