Reuben Owen, star of the Channel 5 documentary series 'Reuben: Life in the Dales', is set to return to screens next week. The 22-year-old son of Amanda Owen, known from 'Our Yorkshire Farm', will feature in a new season chronicling his expanding heavy plant machinery business in the Yorkshire Dales.
The show follows Reuben and his team, including friends Tommy and Sarah, as they tackle projects from muck shifting to drainage and landscaping. Reuben runs Reuben Owen Ltd, a five-star rated company, and regularly shares updates on its Facebook page, recently posting about laying 900 metres of water pipe in a day.
Reuben is in a relationship with Jessica Ellwood, a farmer he met at a Young Farmers' convention in 2024. Jessica helps run her parents' Brough Castle farm, which houses 400 sheep, 80 milk cows, three horses, 200 cattle, two cats and three dogs. The couple made their relationship official in November 2024 and celebrated Valentine's Day 2026 with a romantic getaway.
Reuben previously dated Sarah Dow, but they split in May 2024. He told Lorraine Kelly that they remain good friends and that Sarah is pursuing her own career. 'Reuben: Life in the Dales' airs on Channel 5 on Tuesday at 8pm.
