Rebekah Vardy has appeared unfazed by the release of Coleen Rooney's new documentary, sharing a series of holiday snaps on Instagram. The wife of footballer Jamie Vardy posted pictures of her children enjoying a beach play area, captioning one: 'Living their best lives.' She also shared a selfie of herself relaxing in the shade, writing: 'As am I,' accompanied by a laughing emoji and two champagne glasses.
Vardy, 41, did not directly address the documentary, which aired on Disney+ on Wednesday. Instead, she posted another photo of herself dressed for a night out with four of her children, captioning it 'Precious memories.' Fans praised her for ignoring the gossip, with one commenting: 'Loving life whilst others are stuck in a Disney fairytale still reliving the past.'
The three-part series focuses on the legal case that began in October 2019, when Rooney, 37, accused Vardy of leaking stories about her personal life to The Sun. Vardy denied the claims and sued for libel, but the High Court ruled in favour of Rooney in July last year. The documentary offers a behind-the-scenes look at Rooney's perspective on the trial.
Vardy's social media activity suggests she is enjoying her family holiday and is not bothered by the renewed attention surrounding the case.
