Sue and Noel Radford, stars of Channel 5's 22 Kids and Counting, have shared an emotional update ahead of the new series, revealing a 'worrying time' for their daughter Sophie. In a first-look clip released on the family's Instagram account, Sue admitted, 'It has been one of the most worrying times.'
The video shows Noel rushing over to Sophie, telling her on the phone, 'I am on my way over, I'll speak to you later.' A voiceover explains, 'It has been two days since Noel and Sue have heard from Sophie, and concern has been growing.'
Sue added, 'Lots of different things that the kids are going through, but with this situation, it's pretty alien to me. It has definitely been one of the most worrying times for one of our kids, because normally I'm used to being able to give advice because I've normally been through lots of different things that the kids are going through.'
Fans expressed concern in the comments, with one writing, 'You never stop worrying about your kids. Can't wait to watch you all again xx.' Another said, 'Can't wait watch it I hope Sophie alright.' Others were excited for the series return, with one commenting, 'Definitely watching it can't wait.'
The new series of 22 Kids and Counting airs on 1st February at 8pm on Channel 5.
