What is the plot of Prisoner on Sky?
The series is penned by Oscar-nominated writer Matt Charman, known for his work with Steven Spielberg on Bridge of Spies, as well as Netflix's Hostage and ITV drama Black Work. The story follows Amber Todd (Izuka Hoyle), a young prison transport officer tasked with escorting a trained killer and high-value inmate, Tibor Stone (Tahar Rahim), to court to testify against his elite crime syndicate.
After their convoy is brutally ambushed, Amber is forced to go on the run with Stone, handcuffed to him as she puts her life in his hands. The pair must survive the organised crime group's attempts to silence them forever and reach court on time.
