Princess Andre has secured a presenting role on ITV's This Morning, stepping into the spotlight amid ongoing family turmoil involving her mother, Katie Price, and stepfather, Lee Andrews.
Princess Andre's Debut on This Morning
The 18-year-old social media influencer, daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre, made her first appearance as a presenter on the popular daytime show earlier today. She fronted a fashion segment focused on prom dresses, appearing composed despite the chaos surrounding her mother's husband, Lee Andrews, who is currently detained in Dubai.
Hosts Craig Doyle, 55, and Angela Scanlon, 42, introduced Princess to the audience. Craig remarked, "After attending her own prom a few years ago, Princess Andre is going to be helping out today." The segment featured three girls seeking advice on choosing the perfect prom dress. Princess, standing before a photo from her own prom, shared her experience: "Prom season is busy, it's stressful. I actually found it quite hard to find my prom dress, but I found it in the end."
When Angela asked if her dress had been her dream choice, Princess replied, "It wasn't the dream dress, but it was still the moment, I still loved it." She revealed she had seven options and made her final selection on the day of the event.
Previous Television Work
This is not Princess's first venture into television. She hosts her own ITV series, The Princess Diaries, which premiered in August last year and returned for a second series earlier this year.
Family Drama Unfolds
Princess and her older brother, Junior, have remained silent on the arrest of Katie Price's fourth husband, Lee Andrews, in Dubai. The couple have yet to meet in person, as Andrews has not travelled to the UK to meet his in-laws. Andrews, a self-proclaimed businessman, was reportedly detained on suspicion of espionage, though Katie claims he is due for release on Monday.
Katie had not heard from her husband for two weeks and was deeply worried. On Wednesday, they spoke for one minute on the phone, during which Andrews claimed he was being held at the notorious Al Awir prison, described as "hell on earth" and located less than 20 miles from central Dubai. "It was very rushed, but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy," Katie recounted.
She told The Sun: "I have found him. He is alive, and he is OK. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him." However, the publication suggests Andrews is not being held on spying charges but over a private civil matter.
On her latest podcast episode, Katie informed her sister Sophie about the phone call, with Sophie audibly sighing in relief. "All I know is that, they thought he was a spy so he was interrogated," Katie said. She admitted the situation had been "a worry" and she had questioned whether he was dead or alive. Katie also revealed she told Andrews bluntly that he is "the most hated man in Britain," a claim that shocked him. "Trust me, you are the most hated man in Britain. Everyone thinks this is a scam," she said.
