Paco Robles, the celebrated flamenco guitarist whose career spanned five decades, has died at the age of 70. The cause was not disclosed.
Born in Seville, Robles began playing guitar as a child and quickly mastered the complex rhythms of flamenco. He performed with many of the genre's greatest figures, including Camarón de la Isla and Paco de Lucía.
Robles released 15 solo albums, earning international acclaim for his innovative fusion of traditional flamenco with jazz and classical music. His 2004 album "Alma Flamenca" won a Latin Grammy.
