Reuben Owen, the star of Channel 5's Our Yorkshire Farm, has been overwhelmed with support from fans after sharing a rare and adorable couple's photo with his girlfriend, Jessica Ellwood.
A Lovely Day for a Celebration
The 21-year-old television personality, who found fame alongside his parents Clive and Amanda Owen and his eight siblings on the popular show, took to his Instagram this week to post a sweet selfie. The photo was taken at a friend's wedding, where the couple looked effortlessly stylish. Reuben was dressed in a sharp grey two-piece suit and a blue tie, while Jessica wowed in a gorgeous blue dress.
In the caption accompanying the image, Reuben simply wrote, “Lovely day celebrating Mr & Mrs Higbee.” His girlfriend, Jess, also shared a snapshot from the special day, echoing the sentiment with her own caption: “Lovely day celebrating Riley and Emily's wedding.”

Future Dreams of a Shared Farm
This public appearance together comes after Reuben opened up about his serious future plans with Jessica earlier this year. In an interview with the Mirror in July 2025, he shared his dream of one day owning their own farm.
Reuben expressed his hope for a property that would accommodate both his growing heavy plant machinery business and Jessica's passion for livestock. “We’re just waiting for something to come up,” he stated. “I’ve got to try and get a nice place, get a bit of a farm somewhere one day. It would be ideal to have a farm where I can park my diggers and she can have her sheep and cows.”
While the couple are clearly building a life together, marriage is not an immediate priority. The young star confirmed he sees it happening “eventually”, but he has no plans to emulate his parents' famously large family. He humorously but firmly stated, “I don’t think I fancy nine of them, I don’t fancy nine at all. We’ll have to wait and see.”
Reuben continues to be a regular on TV screens, having successfully launched his own spin-off series, Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales, which premiered earlier this year and gives viewers a deeper look into his work and relationship with Jessica.
