Our Yorkshire Farm star Reuben Owen has received an outpouring of support after sharing a photo with his girlfriend Jessica Ellwood at a friend's wedding. The 21-year-old, who rose to fame on the Channel 5 show alongside his parents Amanda and Clive and eight siblings, posted a selfie on Instagram showing the couple dressed up for the occasion.
In the image, Reuben wore a grey two-piece suit with a blue tie, while Jessica donned a blue dress. He captioned the post: 'Lovely day celebrating Mr & Mrs Higbee.' Fans were quick to compliment the couple, with one commenting: 'Stunning couple inside and out,' and another adding: 'Power couple! Made for each other.'
Reuben, who now stars in his own series Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales, has been open about his future plans with Jessica. In July, he told the Mirror that he hopes to one day own a farm where he can park his heavy machinery and she can keep her sheep and cows. 'We're just waiting for something to come up,' he said.
While marriage is not imminent, Reuben said he will get there 'eventually,' but ruled out having nine children like his parents. 'I don't think I fancy nine of them,' he stated. 'We'll have to wait and see.'
