The National Television Awards (NTAs) 2026 have announced their longlist of nominees, with the ceremony set to take place at The O2 in London on Tuesday, 8th September. Hosted by Joel Dommett for the sixth consecutive year, the event promises to celebrate the best of British television.
In the Reality Competition category, the BBC's The Traitors will compete against its celebrity spin-off, alongside other popular shows such as Love Island and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. Other notable programmes in the running include Alien: Earth, Bookish, House of Guinness, Pluribus, The Other Bennet Sister, Beyond Paradise, Call the Midwife, and Grace.
In the TV Presenter category, Ant & Dec are once again nominated, aiming to reclaim the prize after Gary Lineker ended their 23-year winning streak in 2025. Voting is now open online at www.nationaltvawards.com, with the shortlist to be revealed in August. Winners will be announced live on ITV on 8th September.
