Downton Abbey Special Announced for 15th Anniversary

A special television programme, 'Downton Abbey Celebrates the Grand Finale', has been announced to mark the 15th anniversary of the beloved period drama. The hour-long event, filmed at London's Savoy Hotel, will feature cast members sharing 'never-before-told' stories from the making of the series and films.

Participants include Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern, and many other original cast members, as well as Paul Giamatti, who reprises his role in the upcoming third film. The special also includes contributions from production designer Donal Woods, costume designer Anna Mary Scott Robbins, and composer John Lunn.

In the UK, the special will be available to stream on ITVX from Friday 12th September, with a terrestrial broadcast on ITV3 at 9pm on Saturday 13th September. US viewers can watch on NBC and Peacock from Wednesday 10th September.
