The new Cadbury Dairy Milk Strawberries and Creme Frappe bar is best enjoyed straight from the fridge, but with the ever-growing hype around it, is it actually worth a try?
I tried new Cadbury flavour shoppers are 'running' for in hot weather
Melted chocolate isn't ideal when the temperature rises, and as Britain braces itself for another heatwave, snack enthusiasts will be hoping for something with a bit more staying power than your typical chocolate bar.
That's why Cadbury devotees have been going mad for a brand new bar that they suggest you keep in the fridge, as it tastes superior that way, making it ideal to enjoy during a heatwave.
With UK temperatures set to climb as high as 33 degrees in the coming days, there's good reason shoppers are racing to get their hands on the new Strawberries and Creme Frappe Cadbury Dairy Milk bar. It features the classic dairy milk chocolate, filled with a cream layer combined with strawberry-flavoured rice pieces, offering a 'refreshing twist on a classic' taste.
Perfectly suited to the summer months and conjuring up memories of tennis and sun-soaked afternoons, this flavour is certain to satisfy chocolate fans across the country. They wrote on their website: "Perfect for the summer season, put this bar in the fridge and enjoy outside in the sun."

On social media, when New Foods UK revealed the bar, eager fans said that they "need" to try it, insisting they were going to pick it up as soon as possible. "This will be nice," someone else predicted. Another agreed and said, "omg yummy."
How does the new Cadbury Strawberries and Creme Frappe bar taste?
It truly is the ideal summery chocolate bar. The strawberry notes aren't overpowering, and the rice pieces throughout give it a delightful crunch without being excessive.
I'd certainly choose it over a standard bar of Dairy Milk this summer. It's utterly scrumptious. Similar to Marvellous Creations bars, it provides something rather more thrilling and distinctive than your typical chocolate bar offering, which means the sensory pleasure of consuming it is wonderful.
Usually, I'm not the type of person who would refrigerate chocolate bars, as I believe it makes them slightly too firm, and sometimes fridges appear to diminish the flavour of foods. I'd typically remove a sandwich at least an hour before wanting to eat it, for instance.
However, it seems as though this chocolate bar and the fridge are made for each other, as if it were specifically created for refrigeration. Without chilling, the texture feels off, and consequently, I'd 100% suggest that you consume it as Cadbury intended.
Where to buy the new Cadbury Strawberries and Creme Frappe chocolate bar
That said, what those eager to try the confectionery need to know is that only particular locations currently stock the product.
The chocolate can be purchased at selected Iceland, Morrisons and Food Warehouse branches at present, with prices varying depending on location.
"I had one yesterday, and it's so delicious," someone else shared, and I couldn't agree more! Article continues below
