Netflix's new crime thriller Nemesis has stormed to the number two spot on the platform's UK TV chart, despite a mixed critical reception. Created by Power's Courtney A. Kemp and Tani Marole, the eight-part series follows an LAPD cop and a career criminal locked in a tense cat-and-mouse game after a daring heist in Los Angeles.

Nevertheless, fans have taken to social media to praise the series, with many binge-watching the first season and calling for a second.

One viewer said: 'Kept me engaged and not sure whose side I was on. Binge watched twice. I need season 2.' Another added: 'Love it!!! Courtney does it again!!! can't wait for season 2!!!' On IMDb, a fan described it as 'a masterpiece' and expressed hope for a renewal.
