Netflix has released a brand new series of 'Bad Thoughts', the dark comedy created by comedian Tom Segura. The show, which first debuted last year, is now streaming its second season as of 24 May.
Described as a 'warped sketch programme' that pushes boundaries, each episode explores unthinkable scenarios and fantasies within a cinematic universe. Segura not only stars in the show but also holds writing and directing credits.
The series has garnered a polarising reception, with a 54% score on Rotten Tomatoes from professional reviewers. However, fans have been enthusiastic, with one calling it the 'funniest show on Netflix' and another praising its 'dark and twisted' humour.
A preview from the LA Times likened the show to 'a fever dream', adding that it is 'so unhinged that your brain might file a restraining order'. Another reviewer described it as 'Netflix's most twisted dark comedy series of all time', predicting that season 2 'will surely be a perfect one-night weekend binge for all comedy fans'.
Segura already has several Netflix specials, including 'Ball Hog' (2020), 'Sledgehammer' (2023), and 'Teacher' (2025). The new episodes of 'Bad Thoughts' are available to stream now.
