EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy has revealed she is reversing her recent hair transformation, admitting she 'didn't feel like herself' with the lighter locks. The actress, 40, who has played Sonia Fowler on the BBC One soap since 1993, ditched her signature brunette hair for a lighter shade last month, which received praise from fans.
However, on Saturday, Cassidy announced she was changing her hair back, joking about her 'poor hairdresser'. In a social media post featuring a glamorous shot of her lighter hair, she wrote: 'To everyone who's said nice things about my barnet, thank you but I'm changing it back today. I'm pleased I tried going lighter but I just don't feel like me! My poor hairdresser!' accompanied by a laughing emoji.
The news comes after Cassidy shared a candid video from her family staycation in Cornwall, where she encouraged fans to embrace British summer weather. In the video, she said: 'Just in the car at the moment, my coat's still a bit wet. It's still raining in Cornwall but we're not moaning about anything! Right? Because we're away and that's what matters!'
Cassidy's positive attitude was praised by her 334,000 followers, with one commenting: 'I love your posts Nat, you do make me smile. Happy holidays to you and your family.' Another added: 'Absolutely! Positiveness and it's what you make it. Have a lovely time in beautiful Cornwall.'
