Echo and the Bunnymen, the legendary Liverpool group supporting My Chemical Romance at Anfield Stadium on June 30, 2026, have confirmed the stage times for the show via their Instagram story on June 29. According to the post, Echo and the Bunnymen will perform at 6:30pm, followed by My Chemical Romance at 7:45pm. Stage times are subject to change, and the Liverpool ECHO will provide updates as necessary.
First Liverpool Show Since 2006
This marks My Chemical Romance's first performance in Liverpool since 2006, when they played an intimate gig at the University of Liverpool just weeks after releasing their third album, The Black Parade. The band also headlined Victoria Park in Warrington on May 27, 2022.
Launch of MCRmy Social Channels
On June 29, My Chemical Romance launched new official social media channels for their fan community, MCRmy, on Instagram and TikTok. In a statement, the band said: "Today we are launching @MCRmyofficial on IG and TikTok as a home for our fans to gather. The MCRmy has been part of what we do from the beginning and we are very excited that there will be an official shared space for special updates, information, and media for all of you. We are humbled to be able to do this and that you all continue to show up. See you soon." The band also shared a video from inside Anfield Stadium, appearing to practice for their return show.
