Michelle Keegan's Emotional Jeremy Kyle Appearance Resurfaces

A resurfaced clip from a 2010 episode of Jeremy Kyle shows actress Michelle Keegan breaking down in tears during a lie detector test. The then-22-year-old was appearing as her Coronation Street character Tina McIntyre in a special episode marking the show's 1000th edition.

In the clip, Tina faces ex-boyfriend David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd), who accuses her of sleeping with his brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price). Keegan's character becomes visibly upset, insisting David has a 'cheek' to imply she had bedded Nick, and that such matters are not 'important to her right now'.

The emotional scene also sees Tina reveal that her father has just died, a tragedy she suspects David's mother Gail may have been involved in. David counters that their split was due to their parents secretly being involved, but Tina disagrees, growing increasingly distraught.

Keegan, now 30, is happily married to Mark Wright and has enjoyed a successful career since leaving Coronation Street in 2014. Her character Tina was killed off in dramatic scenes, falling from a building and later dying in hospital after being beaten with an iron rod.

Fans were recently reminded of Keegan's time on the cobbles when a lookalike character, reporter Naila played by Saira Choudhry, appeared on the show. Viewers took to social media to note the striking resemblance, with Choudhry herself finding the comparisons amusing.
