Late Married at First Sight Australia expert Mel Schilling was forced to intervene during the reunion episode of the E4 show after groom Tyson repeatedly talked over co-expert Alessandra Rampolla. The confrontation aired on Wednesday (May 13) night's episode, which saw the couples return for one last interrogation by the experts.
Tyson, 30, who embraces traditional values and believes women should defer to their male partners, clashed with sexologist Alessandra when she questioned his need for 'control' in relationships. As Alessandra tried to explain, Tyson rolled his eyes and talked over her, prompting Mel to snap: 'Stop speaking over her! Tyson, this is unacceptable!'
The episode ended on a cliff-hanger after Mel's outburst, with the remainder of the reunion set to broadcast on Thursday (May 14). Viewers took to X to praise Mel, with one writing: 'Mel is RAGING with Tyson. That was brewing #MAFSAU #MAFSAustralia.' Another added: 'GO ON MEL !!!! What a legend #MAFSAU.'
