Maya Jama has reportedly secured a major television project in the United States, just weeks after her split from Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias. The 31-year-old presenter is said to be starting filming in the coming weeks, balancing her commitments with ITV's Love Island.
A source told The Sun that Maya's schedule is 'really exciting' and that she is 'more sought after than ever'. They added: 'Maya thrives off being busy and manifesting her career goals — she definitely isn’t heartbroken and licking her wounds.'
Despite keeping her London home, Maya's filming schedule will take her across Europe and the US in the coming months. She is also set to appear in the second series of Guy Ritchie's Netflix show The Gentlemen.
The split from Ruben Dias, which ended an 18-month relationship, came to light last month amid rumours of infidelity. Dias has publicly denied the cheating claims, stating in an emotional post: 'Maya and I have always had a relationship built on mutual respect. No line was ever crossed in that regard.'
