Prime Video's 'Maxton Hall – The World Between Us' has returned for its second season, with the first three episodes released on 7 November 2025. The show, based on Mona Kasten's novel 'Save You', continues the story of James Beaufort (Damien Hardung) and Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten) as they navigate their relationship and ambitions for Oxford.
The remaining three episodes will be released weekly on Fridays. Episode 4 is therefore scheduled for 14 November 2025, with subsequent episodes following on 21 and 28 November.
The season's synopsis teases turmoil: after a passionate night in Oxford, Ruby's world is shattered by a family tragedy involving James, leaving her devastated and struggling to trust him again. James, however, is determined to win her back.
Alongside Herbig-Matten and Hardung, the cast includes Sonja Weißer, Ben Felipe, Fedja van Huêt, Runa Greiner, Justus Riesner, Andrea Guo, Frederic Balonier, and Eli Riccard. New additions for season 2 include Dagny Dewath, Proschat Madani, Anna Lucia Gustmann, Basil Eidenbenz, Laura de Boer, and Kiro Ebra, with Gina Henkel taking on a recast role.
