Matt Tebbutt's Wardrobe Malfunction on Saturday Kitchen

Saturday Kitchen host Matt Tebbutt experienced an awkward wardrobe malfunction live on air moments before his cooking show began. The 52-year-old television presenter was seen adjusting his shirt while chatting with BBC Breakfast's Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty.

Live Cross with BBC Breakfast

Charlie and Naga were presenting BBC Breakfast on Saturday, May 2, delivering the day's top stories from across Britain and beyond. As their broadcast concluded, they crossed over to Matt, who was previewing what his culinary show had in store.

Addressing viewers, Naga announced: "We are with you until 10am this morning, then Mr Matt Tebbutt takes over on Saturday Kitchen. Let's find out what is on the menu, shall we?"

Awkward Moment Caught on Camera

The feed switched to Matt, but it became apparent he was not quite ready as cameras caught him straightening his shirt. Naga asked: "Are you ready for us?" Looking somewhat flustered, Matt replied: "I'm ready! I was just adjusting my shirt."

Naga quipped: "Good, good, good. I hate to see what it was like before." Laughter erupted as Matt confessed: "I got this last night. Do you like it?"

"Very nice. You look lovely and tanned, may I say," Naga observed. Matt disclosed: "Oh no, I went out last Thursday, so it's probably just a hot flush."

Naga interjected: "OK, good to know." Matt then joked: "It's an age-related thing." Naga concluded: "I hope you get through the programme."

Moving On to the Show

Keen to press on, Matt proceeded to whet viewers' appetites for what lay ahead, saying: "Our special guest today is the brilliant Lucy Beaumont. Lucy, good morning."

Lucy responded: "Good morning. I'm really happy to be here, actually." Matt chuckled as he remarked: "That's good. Thanks for letting us know. We are going to talk about your tour and everything going on in your world."

Later in the programme, the television favourite was joined by culinary maestros Vivek Singh and Donna Hay, while Olly Smith selected the perfect wines to complement the studio fare.

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One and iPlayer, and Saturday Kitchen airs Saturdays from 10am on BBC One and iPlayer.
