Martin Lewis, the well-known ITV money-saving expert, is set to make his acting debut in the BBC comedy series Mandy, which returns tonight (Monday 21 July) for its fourth series. The show stars Diane Morgan as Mandy Carter, a woman who struggles to hold down a job.
In the new episode, Mandy confesses she only lasted 40 minutes in her latest role as a dog food taster, but managed to leave with stolen freebies. After too many sackings, she is placed on a 'restart scheme' to help her find work, leading to an awkward meeting at a town hall.
Guest stars in the series include former EastEnders actress Cheryl Fergison, Car Share's Sian Gibson, and Martin Lewis. The episode airs tonight on BBC at an unspecified time.
