Journalist Emily Maitlis has come face to face with US politician Marjorie Taylor Greene on Piers Morgan's Uncensored, two years after Greene told her to "f*** off" during a heated interview.
During the appearance, Maitlis and Greene sat alongside each other as Piers Morgan quizzed them about their explosive March 2024 encounter. The confrontation happened when Maitlis approached the former Republican representative for an interview, asking: "Could you tell me why so many people that support Donald Trump love conspiracy theories, including yourself?"
Revisiting the Heated Exchange
Greene gave a furious response, saying: "Well, let me tell you, you're a conspiracy theorist, and the left and the media spread more conspiracy theories. We like the truth. We like supporting our Constitution, our freedoms and America first," before telling Maitlis to "f*** off".
As Morgan played back the interview clip, the host asked both Maitlis and Greene how they felt about the "tricky encounter", to which Greene replied: "I actually haven't talked to Emily since then, and I still stand by the words I said there - they were ridiculous questions!"
Praise and Political Shift
Greene then turned the conversation to American politics, so Morgan handed over to Maitlis and circled back to their 2024 confrontation: "Can I just say, since that moment in the Mar-a-Lago Ballroom, my admiration for Marjorie Taylor Greene has only increased."
Maitlis then said to Greene: "You called out a bully [President Donald Trump] before many in your own party did. And what you did over the Epstein Files was absolutely the right move."
Greene's Break with the Republican Party
Greene, who has been branded a "traitor" by Trump, publicly slammed the US leader for refusing to release the full Epstein Files. She even joined forces with victims and Democrats to demand a House vote on the issue. As of June 2026, she has severed ties with the Republican Party and emerged as an outspoken critic of the president.
Maitlis praised: "Arguably, it's what pushed him [Trump], finally, to release those files. I do think it's extraordinary that you were willing to stand up to your party."
