Married At First Sight UK couple Alexis and Ant have decided to leave the experiment once again following a fiery argument at a dinner party with the other couples. The pair, who returned to the show last week after a cheating scandal, clashed over Ant's lack of romantic interest in Alexis.
During the dinner party, Alexis confronted Ant about not making an effort with their relationship, stating she had been sleeping on the sofa because she did not want to be in bed with someone who did not fancy her. She told him, 'I'm not here to make a f*****g friendship. We're sitting here at a table tonight and I feel alone again.'
Ant responded by saying he had been open and honest with her, but Alexis retorted, 'F**k your honesty, I didn't come here for that s**t.' Expert Mel noted that Ant appeared to be 'just giving up' on the relationship.
Realising there was nothing left to salvage, Alexis said, 'We are leaving,' and Ant agreed. She then added, 'If this was on the outside world you'd be blocked and deleted.' The couple had re-entered the series after Alexis's former husband Jordon cheated with Megan, and Nikita was removed for unacceptable behaviour, which also forced Ant to leave temporarily.
Married At First Sight UK airs Monday to Thursday at 9pm on E4.
