Caspar Todd, 34, told his wife Emma Barnes, 31, that he did not find her attractive, admitting he usually goes for 'the curvier person' but that she was not his type. When Emma asked if he fancied her, Caspar replied: 'Not currently no, let's be honest.'
Adam Aveling, 33, also faced criticism after telling bride Polly Sellman, 28, that the initial attraction was 'not 100% there' and that she was 'not what I expected.' He described his ideal type as 'petite, brunette, dark features, tan.'
Fans took to social media to condemn the men's behaviour, with many pointing out that the grooms were themselves average-looking. One viewer wrote: 'Too many average looking men in this series with how the women they've been given look.' Another commented: 'Caspar says he's not attracted to his wife as she's curvy....he's literally a walking sausage roll of a man.'
