Love Island has seen a dramatic double dumping just days before the final, with two female contestants reportedly sent packing. A source told The Sun that the recoupling left the villa in tears, with 'dirty looks' exchanged as the axed islanders were gutted to leave so close to the finale.
The shock exit follows a week of chaos, including the arrival of bombshells Chuggs Wallace and Samie Elishi. Samie's prior DM exchange with Luca Bish caused tension with Grace Jackson, and the public later voted for Samie to couple up with Luca, leaving Grace single. Thursday's episode ended on a cliffhanger as viewers await Samie's choice in the Snog, Marry, Pie game.
This season has already seen two contestants voluntarily leave: Scott Thomas and Ron Hall. Scott cited a lack of connection with Tina Stinnes, while Ron admitted he was waiting for the right person who never arrived. Both departures left the cast emotional.
The Mirror has contacted ITV for comment on the reported dumping. The final is expected to air on Monday, February 17, as revealed by former star Amy Hart on the official podcast.
